A: This product can be used on flat surfaces and low pile carpet.
Q: How high can it lift?
A: Depends on the leverage you allow - the angle of the handle will change based on how high above the floor you start - from 0 to 2 inches (~5 centimetres)
Q: Could you use it for a small legged item such as dining room table?
A: It will work perfectly on narrow surfaces, as long as the legs are on top of the lifters, you shouldn't have a problem.
Q: Once you've used this to get a furniture dolly under one side can it safely lift to get a dolly on the other side, as the object will be slanted?
A: The moving plates are small and low profile so it should not raise the furniture too high. However, for safety, there should be some pedestal on the other side when the object is being lifted.
